KISW 99.9 FM has been "Seattle's Best Rock" for over 30 years!! It's one of the top rated rock stations on the west coastand all the guys in JN have been listening to it since grade school. Besides playing your standard corporate rock playlist, the station has just launched two new program features! First, a week night contest called "Cock-Fight" where two local bands are matched up against each other mano-e-mano! Callers and emailers decide which band wins! On Monday, Jan 10th, 2005 the band entered the contest ... and WON!! They will be on each night this week or until they lose so tune in at 9pm and vote for JELLYNECK!!
KISW 99.9 FM has also just launched the long missed "Local Music Show" on Sunday nights from 11pm - midnight. JN got played as the 2nd song on the very first show back!!
The south-end rock station - Funky Monkey (KNFK 104.9 FM) - has their own locals show called, 'Garage Monkey' on Sunday nights from 8-9pm. This show also features the best Northwest rock bands and JELLYNECK has been getting airplay here as well!!
Northwest metal fans endured over two years without KISW's Metal Shop on the airwaves. At Ozzfest 2002, KISW took a vote and metalheads from across the state overwhelmingly voted the show back in the air!
The band appeared on The BJ Shea Show on 100.7 FM - "The Buzz" on Friday, April 23rd, 2003. The American Stinkhole contest allows local bands to be interviewed and have their music played on the air. The contest is judged by the shows listeners, "Ricker" the afternoon DJ from the rock station (KISW-FM), and a guest judge - Rebecca Stevenson from NWCableNews Weather!
